Co-parenting is when two people agree to have a child together, even if they are not in a romantic relationship. Every arrangement is different and should be based on what both parents agree is best for their child.

A child needs time, love, care, and financial resources to thrive. Co-parents can divide these responsibilities based on what each person is able to provide. Having more money can make things easier, but limited finances do not always mean you cannot become a parent. We will help you look at realistic options based on your situation.

The beauty of this is that its completely up to you and your potential co-parent, as you are both two consenting adults. There is nothing stopping two co-parents from falling in love and getting married. There is also nothing stopping two consenting adults from keeping things very formal and non-sexual and using insemination (injecting the sperm with a medical device). Everything is based on you and your co-parent's circumstance, and what you both decide as consenting adults.
